こんばんは！

このたび、中国人民解放軍建軍９９周年にあたり、祝賀レセプションを盛大に開催する運びとなりました。ご臨席を賜った皆様に対し、心より歓迎いたします。

９９年の道のりを振り返れば、中国人民解放軍は中国共産党の強力な指導の下で、初心と使命を銘記し、幾多の硝煙戦火を経て、中華民族の存亡を救い、民族解放を勝ち取り、国家安全と発展の利益を守り、世界の平和を維持するため、卓越した功績と多大な貢献を挙げました。

今年は中国工農紅軍の長征勝利９０周年であります。９０年来、中国人民にとって、「長征精神」は、一貫していかなる苦境を乗り越え、未来を切り開く強力な原動力であります。「長征精神」に鼓舞されて、中国人民は未来の道のりにおけるリスクと挑戦を今後も乗り越え、中国式現代化建設の新たな成果を絶えず成し遂げてまいります。

世界は今、変化と混乱が交錯し、平和と発展が深刻な挑戦に直面しています。中国は平和発展の道を堅持し、終始して歴史の正しい方向に沿って、国連を核心とする国際体系および国際法を基盤とする国際秩序を擁護し、「グローバル発展イニシアチブ」「グローバル安全保障イニシアチブ」「グローバル文明イニシアチブ」「グローバルガバナンスイニシアチブ」を実践し、人類運命共同体の構築を推進し、世界の平和と発展にさらなる安定性と確実性をもたらします。

中国と日本は互いに重要な隣国であります。現在、中日関係は深刻な困難に直面し、新たな衝撃を受け続けていることにあります。日本側の言動は、中日双方が重ねて確認した共通認識に背き、今の局面を招いた根源であります。日本側は信用を重んじ、約束を守り、実際の行動をもって中日間の四つの政治文書の重大原則を堅持すべきであり、実際の行動をもって平和発展の道のりを歩むという政策表明を実行すべきであります。

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Good evening. Today, we are gathered here to grandly celebrate the 99th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA). I would like to take this opportunity to extend a very warm welcome to all the distinguished guests and friends present.

Over the past 99 years, under the strong leadership of the Communist Party of China, the PLA has stayed true to its original aspiration and founding mission, weathered the flames and smoke of wars and battles, and overcome hardships and difficulties all along the way, making outstanding contributions to achieving national independence and liberation, safeguarding national security and development interests, and maintaining world peace.

This Year marks the 90th anniversary of the victory of the Long March of the Chinese Workers’ and Peasants’ Red Army.  Over the past 90 years, the Spirit of the Long March has remained a powerful drive spurring the Chinese people to overcome difficulties and forge ahead into the future. Inspired by the Long March spirit, the Chinese people will continue to overcome the risks and challenges going forward and keep achieving new successes in the pursuit of modernization with Chinese characteristics.

The world today is fraught with transformations and turbulence. Peace and development are confronted with grave challenges. China will stay on the path of peaceful development.  China has always stood firmly on the right side of history. We uphold the UN-centered international system and the international order based on international law. We will act on the Global Development Initiative, the Global Security Initiative,the Global Civilization Initiative and the Global Governance Initiative. We will strive for building a community with a shared future for humanity,bringing greater stability and certainly to world peace and development.

China and Japan are important neighboring countries to each other. The current China-Japan relations are facing serious difficulties and constantly facing new impacts. Japan’s words and actions violate the political consensus repeatedly confirmed by both sides. This is the root cause of the current situation. The Japanese side should honor its commitments and take concrete actions to uphold the series of major principles set forth in the four political documents between China and Japan, take concrete actions to fulfill the policy declaration of pursing a path of peaceful development.
